The Captain and Owner
Hi, I'm Craig! I was born and raised on the Dutch island of Saba. Ever since I can remember, I have been fishing. My father owns a commercial lobster and fishing boat business, which is where I first found my love for the sport. After my wife and I moved to Key West, FL, I spent several years learning the waters before deciding to pursue my lifelong dream of starting a business. Following in my father's footsteps, I hope to share my love of the water with you and look
forward to hosting you on my boat one day soon!
As of August 1st, 2025, we have transitioned from our 42' Post Sportfish to a more reliable and versatile vessel: the 2000 29 ft SeaVee Center Console — a faster, sleeker fishing vessel built for both inshore and offshore adventures. The boat is a spacious center console design with 360-degrees of fishability. It is rigged with a livewell, electronics, tackle, tuna tower, and safety equipment.

What to Expect
Drop Off Sportfishing aims to provide you with the best experience and utmost customer service. We provide private charters only which means that we can accommodate up to 6-anglers per party and you will never have others joining your trip. Depending on the trip that you choose and the bite for the day, we will typically travel around 6-16 miles from shore, and based on the season and conditions, the target fish will include Mahi Mahi, Snapper, Grouper, King Mackerel, Wahoo, Sailfish, and many other species. With over 15 years of experience on the water, the captain will do everything possible to put you on the fish. Some of the techniques that will be used include trolling, bottom fishing, live baiting, wreck fishing, and deep dropping.
We will gladly clean and filet the fish you wish to keep and help you with everything you need during your time with us. Drop Off Sportfishing ensures quality safety and fishing equipment onboard and will provide all necessary gear, lures, and bait. Please feel free to bring any snacks and drinks to be stored in the cooler, as well as sunscreen and hats. We look forward to making your fishing trip a memorable experience! Our crew works hard to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and successful day on the water. Gratuity of 18-20% is customary in the industry and greatly appreciated.
